We match or intentionally contrast the railing material with your existing decking and trim so it looks designed, not added on.
Stair rails are built to the same code and stability standard as the main deck railing, including proper graspable handrail sizing.
Beyond standard balusters, we can install cable rail or glass panel systems for a more open sightline.

Is my current railing actually up to code?
A lot of older decks have railings that are either too short or have baluster gaps wider than current code allows. We can check yours during a free estimate.
Can you install railing without replacing the whole deck?
Yes, railing replacement is one of the most common standalone jobs we do, as long as the deck framing itself is sound.
What's the difference between cable rail and standard balusters in cost and upkeep?
Cable rail generally costs more per foot and needs occasional tension checks, while standard balusters cost less and require little adjustment over time.
Do stairs need a different railing than the main deck?
Stair railings follow slightly different code requirements for handrail height and graspability, and we build to that standard as part of any stair railing job.
