Good to know
Sod is 90 percent prep. Laying grass on hard fill fails no matter how good the rolls are, which is why our quotes itemize grading and topsoil separately. Stay off the new lawn for two to three weeks and water it like it's your job; we'll handle the rest.
Common questions
When can sod be installed?
Any frost-free month with water available. Spring through mid-fall in our area. Summer installs just need stricter watering to establish.
What's the difference between turf and sod?
We use "turf" for the same product in sports or high-traffic builds, and for artificial turf on request. Just ask and we'll quote it both ways.
