Fences
From a simple chain link run to a custom cedar privacy fence with matching gates, we design, build and repair fences across Buffalo, Rochester and Batavia. Every post goes in below frost depth, because in Western New York that's the difference between a fence that lasts and one that heaves by March.
One crew, every job.

On every job, whichever fences service you need.
We confirm your boundary lines before we dig, so there's no dispute with a neighbor down the road.
Every post is set at least 42 inches down and set in concrete, which is what it takes to keep a WNY fence from heaving through freeze-thaw cycles.
We pull the local permits your municipality requires and know which Buffalo, Rochester and Batavia zoning rules apply to height and setback.
Wood, vinyl, aluminum or chain link. We'll walk your property and recommend what fits your budget, your dogs, and your view.
Every fence includes at least one properly hung, square gate with hardware rated for our winters.
Old fence material, dug clay, and job debris leave with us. Your yard is walk-ready the day we finish.
Materials we work with
Cedar and PT lumber run warmer and more traditional, vinyl and aluminum trade a higher upfront cost for close to zero maintenance. We'll help you weigh it against how long you plan to stay in the house.
From first call to done right.
Free on-site estimate
We walk the property, take measurements, and talk through material and style options. No obligation, written quote within a few days.
Design and permitting
We finalize the layout, order material, and file for any permits your town requires before crews ever show up.
Installation
Posts go in below frost depth, panels and rails go up plumb and level, and gates get hung and tested before we call it done.
Final walkthrough
We walk the finished fence line with you, cover care and warranty details, and clean up every scrap of debris.
"They found our old survey stakes had shifted two feet over the years and caught it before setting a single post. Saved us a fight with the neighbor. Fence has been rock solid through two winters now."

Common questions
Do I need a permit to install a fence in Buffalo, Rochester or Batavia?
Most municipalities in the area require a permit for fences over a certain height or near a property line. We handle the application and know the local rules so you don't have to.
How deep do fence posts need to be set in Western New York?
We set posts at least 42 inches below grade, below the region's typical frost line, so freeze-thaw cycles don't push them out of the ground over time.
What's the difference between wood, vinyl, aluminum and chain link?
Wood is the most affordable and classic look but needs periodic staining; vinyl and aluminum cost more upfront but need almost no upkeep; chain link is the budget option for containment over privacy.
Does KP Landscaping repair fences it didn't originally install?
Yes. We repair and restore fences of any material and any installer, including storm damage and normal wear.
