How often should a deck be inspected?
We recommend a professional inspection every two to three years, or any time before selling a home or after a particularly heavy winter.
Will you tell me if my deck is unsafe to use?
Yes, if we find an urgent safety issue during the inspection, we'll tell you plainly and recommend restricting use until it's addressed.
Does the inspection fee count toward repair costs?
In most cases, yes. If you have us complete the recommended repairs, the inspection fee is credited toward that work.
Can an inspection catch problems that aren't visible from the surface?
